You and your customers can now track deliveries and visually monitor a shipment's progress with the new UPS for iPad app. You can also find directions to a UPS drop off location, get alerts for home deliveries or view the latest UPS video. "More customers are interacting with us on tablets and iPads, specifically. With this app, they can find key information without being tied to their home or office," says Bob Dubois, senior mobile product manager for UPS.

Here are a few highlights:
- Track a package. When you track a package, a map shows the shipment's origin, current location and final destination. You can store up to five previous tracking requests.
- Get delivery alerts. If you're a UPS My Choice® member, you can set alerts to be notified about the progress of shipments to your home. Then you can reschedule, redirect or authorize shipment release when you're not home to sign.
- Find UPS. Need to ship a package or return one? The app can find nearby UPS locations and provide addresses, phone numbers, operating hours, a map view and directions. If you're looking for a certain kind of location, you can filter results by options such as The UPS Store® or a UPS Drop Box.
- Watch videos. The app also includes links to videos to learn more about UPS services, including UPS My Choice.
Download the UPS for iPad app from iTunes or search for UPS in the Apple App Store. New app features will be added in the coming months.
