If shipping perishable foodstuffs is your business, or you intend it to be, we'd recommend that you consult our professionals at the UPS® Packaging Solutions. But if you're an occasional shipper of seasonal delights to family and friends, you may either consult our packing experts at The UPS Store or follow these guidelines: Deep freeze your product if you can. Package it in an insulated container, with dry ice if necessary. Ship it UPS Next Day Air® Early, UPS Next Day Air® or UPS Next Day Air Saver®. If you're dropping it off at a UPS location, drop it off in the afternoon. Never ship on a Friday unless you’ve specified a Saturday delivery (but note that Next Day Air Saver is not available on Saturdays).
